The Westway Development Trust manages 23 acres of land under the Westway (the A40(M) coming in to West London). It benefits local inhabitants by providing recreation, sport and leisure facilities, developing the capacity and skills of members of socially disadvantaged communities, and through supporting other local charities and involvement in education and the arts.

The latest piece in the range of work we have completed for Westway is the annual review, or highlights of the year. The look and feel of the 28-page document is bright, lively and vibrant, containing a mix of photography and bold typography and illustration, capturing the spirit of the organisation.

Immprint designed an education art pack (A2 poster) for the Serpentine Gallery to accompany their current Damien Hirst curated show: In the darkest hour there may be light, Works from Damien Hirst’s murderme collection, the show dates are: 25 November 2006 – 28 January 2007.

In the darkest hour there may be light is the first public exhibition of the murderme collection and Hirst has worked closely with the Serpentine on the selection and presentation of the sculptures, paintings, photography and installations in and around the Gallery. It offers a fascinating insight into Hirst’s collecting acumen and personal interests, as he says “I always think collections are like a map of a man’s life”.

The exhibition features over 60 works by 24 artists, representing a cross-section of the most interesting contemporary art today. The artists included are Francis Bacon, Banksy, Don Brown, Angela Bulloch, John Currin, Tracey Emin, Angus Fairhurst, Steven Gregory, Marcus Harvey, Rachel Howard, John Isaacs, Michael Joo, Jeff Koons, Jim Lambie, Sean Landers, Tim Lewis, Sarah Lucas, Nicholas Lumb, Tom Ormond, Laurence Owen, Richard Prince, Haim Steinbach, Gavin Turk, Andy Warhol.

For a Cadbury Schweppes internal IT conference, we designed and produced a set of printed materials, including a large board game, posters, banners, exhibition stands and information cards, and also two videos. We hit an extremely tight deadline and delivered the finished materials to Birmingham, Texas and Melbourne.
